Shabang the Musical is King Willonius’s Broadway-style reimagining of Drake’s “Shabang.” What began as a musical comedy concept became a shared performance: fans staged their own versions and mock auditions online.

Created by King Willonius, the project brings his cultural satire into the language of musical theater. Its humor comes from giving a contemporary hip-hop reference the scale and emotion of a stage production.

The released recording, “Shabang (The Musical),” features Stevie Mackey and appears on King Willonius’s 2026 album UNHINGED. Watch the official King Willonius video above.
